Xorg freezes

I have Ubuntu 18 running Google Chrome. Google chrome freezes my machine. I figured it out that the hardware acceleration is the issue. From what I understand, something like this shouldn't freeze Xorg. I need to disable GLX, DRI2 and DRI3 in Xorg to fix the issue. I don't see any errors anywhere

I posted this PR https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66711 , and there is no resolution or workaround. Linux randomly freezes 1-2 times a day. Somebody there suggested that KMS might be related, since KMS-free FreeBSD version of xorg works fine on the same HW. Is there any workaround
