Hi,
I'm using the git tree of radeon driver and what i get is only a black
screen but the vesa works ok.
Kernel : 2.6.32
Xorg : 1.7
libdrm - git version
mesa - git version
libgl - git version
ati-dri - git version
my xorg.conf is : http://paste.pocoo.org/show/197026/
my xorg.log is : http://past
Not sure it ever worked I think I remembered seeing something similiar
last time I tried PAL I just haven't had time to get back to it.

This is followup to bug #575945. I should mention the fact that I
_had_ a lot of radeon firmware files in /lib/firmware/$(uname
-r)/radeon/, therefore it was not obvious to look for firmware issues.

Parsing the BIOSConnectorTable created some bogus entries
with an output_id of 0 (mobility radeon x700). That caused
RADEONLookupGPIOLineForDDC to generate uninitalized i2c entries,
which finally provoked a segfault in RADEONI2CDoLock. To prevent
