ok, I just backrevved to 6.7.195 for a while since I did not have any time for
testing this. After an update to 6.7.196 was available I was again hit by this

Actually, this is *not* an improvement - when I just docked into my work
station with a DVI-connected flat panel the driver was unable to set

OK, today's git trunk is an improvement: at least now the external head gets a
proper mode.
