i know that the log file is usually in the

Hmm, the mouse manager of the shell 'gpm'
can handle multiple mice simultanousely.
I wonder if there is a way to "trick" X11
so that it does use the gpm provided API

hi,
I'm working on extending X/Linux to use different keyboards with different
X Servers. There are two parts to this problem, one I've almost finished
and the other I need your help.
I've almost finished patching the Linux HID Keyboard driver (2.4.
Now try to use a wacom tablet with that.

Hi there,
Whenever I try a low res mode like 800x600 on my laptop, XFree86
automatically selects a doublescan mode, at the expense of a higher
vertical frequency (I get doublescan @ 60 Hz, but I would prefer
singlescan @ 85 Hz or better). I think it is because XFree picks the

Hi
Let me know when you have had a chance of looking on the driver...
I have no expertise in this area, but I think it might be a problem for
the driver to allocate enough memory; as I said before the screen
reduces in size when I sellect 24 bpp and is perfect in 8bpp x 1280 x

Not an expert, but have you tried to specify both devices at the same
time? You may still have to restart X, but you wouldn't have to edit
anything.
Hope that helps a little,

when x is running,
you can simply enter "ps fax" on the console
and see what your display (localhost:0.0)
has attached.

Hi
I run X free86 4.2.1 on debian unstable system. I am unable to figure
out how to reduce my default font size in X. All applications open up
with a very large font size and I am unable to change the size and font
type at all. If i open an xterm it also comes up with a large default font.
