Silly question but are you altering the correct Config file (only ask as I
was confused by a similar situation till I worked out what was happening.)
The log should state which file its using.

First off sorry if this isn't the correct place to ask or if its listed in
some faq somewhere. I've search for days now for anything related to this,
and all I've found is a couple of unanswered post
