Hi All, I'm trying to compile 4.1.0 on a i386 running RedHat Linux 7.1. The install instructions say that GNU's ld won't work "period." But this is the linker installed with my system. And sure enough, "make World" exits with a segmentation fault in ld. How are we supposed to get around this?
