Hi all,
I'm experiencing some random locks on my computer every time I watch
videos (mpg/avi..). I've tried different video applications with the
same result. Very randomly (sometimes 1 second after starting the
video, other minutes after that) the machine locks ups completely and I
need to reboot the computer (keyboard, ping, etc. all dead).
I'm using an Acer Travelmate with the ATI mobility M1 graphic chipset
(mach64 chipset). I'm using the "ati" driver provided by Xfree86 4.1.0
on a 2.4.16 kernel.
¿Anyone with similar problems?
