X freeze with DRI+fireGL8700 again with all version of ati official driver Excuse me again, tank you for all past suggestion.I've made many experiment to get working DRI with my fireGL 8700 but none has reached success. I've installed new rpm for ati fireGL8800/8700 version 4.2.0-1.4.1. But i obtain again a complete freeze of my computer. Also if I remove my soud card an reinstall all x feeze. TIA for eventually suggestion and excuse me for my bad english. Maybe there is incompatibility with FireGL 8700 and VIA chipset 694DP/VT82C686B and SMP.
