The Itap MS client set the autologin flag all the time. Even when you
don't provide a password. It looks like a bug to me.

I have built a clean build of Debian 7.5 (Wheezy) and installed XRDP 0.8
using x11rdp-o-matic (See URL:

(including copy & paste) when accessed from both Windows 7.1 using the
Microsoft RDP client and from Windows 8.1.
However
I have xrdp 0.8 running on Debian and copy & paste for text works from both
Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 using Sesman-X11rdp. I installed a clean build of
Debian 7.5 (Wheezy) followed by using X11RDP-o-Matic (See
