Then I remembered that I used gtk-theme-config recently. After

fact that Xfce and Xubuntu are a popular choice among 8% of OMG! Ubuntu

switched from Theme: Selected only to Theme: Random from selected. Once
I reverted that it would work fine
with a normal system update?
I can very well imagine people not appreciating this. Also, perhaps it would
be better to ship it with Karmic anyway so we then have a really polished

In the end, with requests like this, I guess you have to make some sort of
intelligent guess about what you think the majority of new users would like.
Well, I suppose many would like it, but it's also a source of many problems
which alone might be reason enough not to do it.
