Firefox has switched to memory per tab, so the more tabs you have
running can use up your available memory (like Chromium).
When I had 2 MB of ram, running any browser and e-mail and Libreoffice
was leading to swap being tapped. I had to be careful with keeping the
tabs in FireFox to a small
Since I upgraded to the latest Xubuntu LTS I have found firefox seems
to crash. Whether I am browsing or on youtube it seems to happen. I
also use Chromium without problems.
