I used Dolphin with Mate and yes, it was nice. But I like the one that
comes with xubuntu xfce as well (I think it's thunar, not sure), simple and
efficient, a combination I love.
I also installed double commander which I find useful when I need to move
loads of files from various different folder

Do you know exactly *what* they are doing to make the files go to the Trash

has the option you are looking. I agree with Joao though. Change takes
time and they will learn and adding things bloats the software. I used to

Hi, if in Thunar you press shift+delete you will be asked for a confirmation.
