The default values of the task_poll_interval is 5 seconds. This means that any
operation against the VC will wait at least 5 seconds.
An example of this - a spawn operation would take on average take 25 seconds.
When this parameter what changed to 0.2 - 1.0 seconds the operation would take
on average 9 seconds.
