Parent items of any matching leaf are also displayed so context and the tree structure are preserved. So in short: Admin - System - Flavors page: pick any flavor and click to Update Flavor Metadata, type 'cpu' as filter to Available Metadata. As result there are also items that doesn't contain this string, such as 'Architecture', 'Feature', 'Model' or 'Vendor'.
