Hi,
I observe something unusual in dunfell. After the setting up environment for
build, if I invoke ‘bash’ I see the following:
Package bash-completion was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `bash-completion.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PAT
Hi,
In follow-up to my previous email, it appears that this error in do_image_wic
is triggered by something that the meta-security/meta-integrity layer does.

Can anyone explain why I am not seeing the UDEV events emitted? (Is this
related to using eudev rather than the original udev or what is packaged as
part of systemd?)
Thanks in advance.

So I suggest that if affected and if you need to continue using the older OS as
your build host’s OS, use a Docker container such as that documented at CROPs.

Thanks Martin,
I added an extra step to sync up the ca-certificates within my docker container
that I use to build dunfell. This seems to have resolved the issue that I
encountered.

I have to admit I was a bit surprised by this, but on the other hand, it’s nice
went I can suggest the fix rather than just belly ache over the issue. 😉

It may only be necessary to revert the BUILD_CFLAGS portion as I imagine that
the TARGET_CFLAGS will always be passed to a newer version of GCC.

If this doesn’t work for GIT, you could always try with an alternate revision
