I have 200 entries now in Yojimbo (38 Mb) and the search seems to be

I agree, DTP has some advantages in certain aspects such as
concordance between articles and the automatic filing of new documents
based on the current filing system, but it does feel over-the-top for
simple notes and scribbles. I use my DTP in the same way as you, to
store a good sized repository
I use yojimbo to hold sll the passwords, the serials I get and as a
bookmark holder.
Yojimbo is used for all the information I need, articles etc.
Yojimbo is doing a much better job then DT in those areas
