I have some problems with the "new" EUB-8301.
The "old" SUB-8301 works fine with the same software.
According to the manufacturer is SUB-8301 and EUB-8301 (also NUB-8301) the same.

we are using the NUB-8301 (zd1211 with AL7230B rf module) in a portable
device. In order to length the uptime we need to reduce the power
consumption. WLAN is the top power consumer it deems necessary to
implement powersave mode on the zd1211rw driver.
What is the status?

It doesn't work.
I switch the access point off but nothing happen.
Is there no function to check the beacons (like zd1205_watchdog from the

Here the results of my tests (PXA270):
Access point (cisco1100): with "Open Authentication"
Client: WEP128 with open authentication is worki
.
Test with restricted key (this time with the right configuration from
the access point) fails also (PXA270 and Laptop).
On both systems I become kernel oops (PXA oops see below).
I use access points from RoamAbout and Cisco.
