Historically, this has
been seen as something layered on top of zeromq instead of part of
zeromq. No, there is not trace/debugging built into zeromq.

I don't think anyone answered it.
There's no logging in ZeroMQ at the message level because that makes
no real sense. There is logging for a set of events via
zmq_ctx_set_monitor. Most applications that do complex work with
messages will do their own logging.
