usb keys as a zil make enough of a difference for writes on an iscsi shared
vol?
I am finding reads are not too bad (40is mb/s over gige on 2 500gb drives
stripped) but writes top out at about 10 and drop a lot low
Hi David,
If the permanent error is in some kind of metadata, then it doesn't
translate to a specific file name.
You might try another zpool scrub and then a zpool clear to see if
it clears this error.

We had no problems with our Sun X4500 supporting 3TB disks.
(We bought a single 3TB drive to test on the system to make sure
before buying 45 more!) Over the years, we have updated th
