Hello,
I setup a NAS based on EON 0.58.9-b104 (Osol 2008/11) incl. a zfs (raid-z
zpool). This is shared in my LAN via smb = working. System is running from a
flash USB stick.
I now installed Osol 2009/11 on a flash disk in the same machine, so I be able
to boot either EON or Osol 2009/11.
I tried to import the zpool in Osol, the zpool is not listed available, instead
I get a 'permission denied' message.

Q1: Do I need to import using 'su' privileges?

Q2: How do I mount the zpool in Osol in my user account AND get 'rw' access?
(I don't want to screw anything, as it is my media server with gigs of data,
basically I want maintenance access to the zpool). I read about the '-o
mntopts', but could not figure the correct syntax, and I guess I need to set
permissions, right? For simplicity I chose the same usernames (on EON and Osol).

Q3: Can I share this pool from within Osol (under EON with the USB stick live
system I get lousy performance).

Thanks,
sandra
