Hi folks, I need to manage volumes like LVM does on Linux or AIX, and I think that ZFS can solve this issue.
I read the SVM specification and certainly it doesn't will be the solution that I'll adopt. I don't have Veritas here. I created a pool with name "black" and a volume "lv00", then created a filesystem with 'newfs' command: #newfs /dev/zvol/rdsk/black/lv00 is this the right way ? What's is the best way to manage volumes in Solaris?
