IHAC that has the following issue:
Customer made 4 zones all the zones in zone config to auto boot, they
all auto botoed and where working fine. then he changed the global
zones using volume manage mirroring know the system will reboot fine but
the zones do not auto boot

I'm getting my feet wet with zones and I was wondering if there's a tool
that works like top for zones? I'm thinking of something I could run from
the global zone that'd show me what processes are taking up what resources
and the zones they belong to.

When is it necessary to patch whole root zones directly?
I was trying to make sure that I had all of my zones ready to be updated with
DST patch 122034-04 so I made sure to install patch utilities patch 119254-34
on all of the global zones. I never thought to install it on the whole root
zones
