I currently have my zonepath set to /zones/zonename on all my zones, however
the /zones directory
is on the boot drive and it is near to capacity now. Can I shut down all the
zones and copy the
/zones directory to a new filesystem (different disk) and then remount it as
/zones again? Once
I'm getting an error on trying to create a second zone.
-bash-3.00# zonecfg -z test123 -f test123-zone-cmd.txt
On line 7 of test123-zone-cmd.txt:
An inherit-pkg-dir resource with the dir '/lib' already exists.
resource specification incomplete
Zone test123 failed to verify
test123: Insufficient
Thank you to everyone who replied so quickly...
Basically the inherit-pkg-dir's are by default.
Thanks,
David

We currently have a couple of servers at Solaris 10 U2, and we would like to
get to Solaris 10 U3 for the new zfs features. Can this be accomplished via
patching, or do you have to do an upgrade from S10U2 to S10U3? Also what about
a system with Zones? What is the best practice for upgrading
