I find all these errors that Zope can't find a favicon.ico pretty
annoying. Can we put one into 2.10s root by default, or is that for
some reason a bad idea?

Yeah, that's nice. Does it work as a PNG, though? I was under the
impression (and thought the spec requires) that favicons must be
*.ico files.
A PNG favicon will work in the Mozilla family, but not in IE.

That is only 10 days away! New features should be check in in a

You might enable the 'trace_log' option, and then use the
'requestprofiler.py'

Hey All,
I'm experiencing hanging issues with my Zope-2.8.6+zeo setup/ RHEL 4. The
hanging isn't categorized by 100% cpu usage. Actually, I had the same issues
using 2.8.5, but I've upgraded since then. Here's the situation:
I have one zeo client connected to a zeo server on the same box.
Hi. Is there a way to create an INSTANCE_HOME variable in zope.conf more
dynamically than hardcoding the path. I want an app to be platform
portable so this will be different?
Alternatively, I have been considering overriding zope.conf settings for
use in zope.app.twisted.main and an

I'll chime in with a me too ( see me thread within the last week on the same

I haven't looked into it as deeply as you, but I have tried the
DeadlockDebugger which itself was inaccessible during the time when zope was
spinning. Nothing in the logs.
My install is Zope 2.8.5 on RHEL 4
