Sounds like a bug in the Access UI not the underlying Jet DB engine.

Sure, nothing big's running here on top of Access, but Zope's definitely
connected to Access through ODBC; no problem. The only problem actually
is just Access' obscure error messages when developing. :

There are well known problems with data corruption caused by multiple
concurrent access to Microsoft Access.

We have Zope running without any real problems with ODBC and SQL-server 7
for about 10 months.

I wrote a Jet database adapter so you can skip the ODBC and go straight to
access.
