Hello,
I the code below I want to be declare a variable 'tot_net_amt' and add

Thanks. Is it in the Zope book? I'll read some more tonight.

I suggest you set up this (or similar) hierarchy which solve the
problem:
DataManager
DataSouce
Specialist
Rack
mean framework developer should
create two separate kinds of the same aspect to be used in master's and
slave's contexts? I think, no. ZPatterns were created to avoid such
dependencies.
At least, they (Specialist and Rack) are both DataManagers and PlugIns.

such problems?

DataSkins, so things like 'manage_tabs' just do not work properly. Try
set up Rack for any real ZClass and you see this.
If you'd like I send you complete test suite reproducing the situation.

It looks like retrieved items have no _v_dm_ set. I fixed it (not sure
this is right) with:
File: Rack.py
def getItem(self, key):
"""Get an item from the rack by key"""
# Borrow canonicals map for per-transaction item cache
k = key,
item = self._canon

If I understand something at all, whitebox specialist (Script?) called
SkyDiverSpecialist must have its own data source (rack) for SkyDiver
class and use 2.2. strategy mentioned above. (I just see no other way).
