INSERTING CLOB DATA INTO DB2 | Sujit Mishra

These days, the CLOB data type is extensively used in many
applications. However, our problem was inserting DB2 CLOB data from a

QUERY FOR MULITPLE ORACLE PROCESSES AND TRANSACTIONS | Pratik
Chakraborty
http://www.searchDatabase.com/tip/1,289483,sid13_gci852246,00.html
Ever wanted a handy way to find out how long an UPDATE update
statement has been running, how much rollback space it has used, etc?
Or who are all the people connected to the database? And exactly what
are they doing right now? Here is a query that shows all.

SIMPLE QUERY FORMATTER | Andrew Wall
http://www.searchDatabase.com/tip/1,289483,sid13_gci846683,00.html
This script is useful for ad-hoc queries with numerous select list

their values.

BACK UP TRANSACTION LOGS | Barrie Sosinsky

A few quick tips about SQL Server's transaction log, the key to being
able to recover from a variety of system and software problems.

DATE CONVERSION FROM SYBASE TO DB2 | Parminder Singh
http://www.searchDatabase.com/tip/1,289483,sid13_gci854963,00.html
The format in which Sybase stores data is often different than DB2,
which becomes a problem when manually porting from one to the other.
For example, Sybase and DB2 DATE formats are entirely different. If a
Sybase data column is loaded into DB2, it will give an error. Use
this script to overcome the problem...
