But in reality, you might want to see the values displayed when looking at the field on the form. The solution suggested in the Notes help pages suggest a "backwards" translation in the column for the view. Not elegant. Instead, create a hidden text field that is editable. In the Querysave event, get the value from the original field and store it in the hidden field.
