SECURITY MAY ERECT IM OBSTACLE | E-Commerce Times

THE MISSING LINK: Kids being raised on spam

You would think one would have to be "at least this tall" -- like the
roller coaster requirement -- to receive spam. But even kids aren't
safe from the daily deluge. A new study from Symantec Corp. shows
that four out of five kids are getting spammed. They get all the
usual suspects, from cheap credit card offers to cheap Viagra to
pornography. One in five children actually opens and reads the junk,
and you know what some of that more salacious spam looks like. Too
bad you can't put spam somewhere near the Drano, Clorox and other
household cleaners -- well out of reach.
