THE MISSING LINK | In age of spam, old-school communication afloat

Here's a refreshing break for anyone who's sick of spam. There are
actually people out there who communicate old-school style -- with
paper, a bottle and ocean currents. An 8-year-old Maine girl got the
"forwarding" going when she put a message in a bottle last summer and
lobbed it into the Atlantic. A Florida couple vacationing in Maine
found it, put in their own note and sent the bottle back to the
brine. Now a guy in South Carolina has it -- he plans to insert his
own note and send the bottle asea. Now, if only spammers were forced
to communicate this way, the inbox might be a better place. But you
might not want to go back into the water.
