CREATE A VIEW USING A DOCUMENT COLLECTION | Ask Maureen Leland

Dear Maureen:
In ND6, is it possible to create a view "on the fly" using a document
collection? We are trying to present a group of documents to a user
using a view we present in the client (based on a previously created
view), but not save the view on the server or in the local machine.
Is this possible?

THE MISSING LINK: China doctors give mobile phones a thumbs down

Why are thumbs so blue in China? They're stressed out, and doctors
are pointing their accusatory fingers at the mobile phone. Wireless
calls and text messaging are so popular in China (about 250 million
messages per day in 2002), that people there are getting bum thumbs.
Constant pressing of the little keypad is putting digits in a daze --
a medical condition called "tenosynovitis," which basically means
messaging mania is causing people to mess up their tendons. Doctors
there say it's time to tend to the tendons and send fewer messages.
