LIMIT OF DOCUMENTS ON A DOMINO DOC SERVER | Ask Andre Guirard

Dear Andre:
I intend to far exceed 400,000 documents on a Domino doc server. I
need to know what the document limit is. Is there a limit per
library? Per server? Would using Windows Advanced Server with 8 GB
RAM or Windows Datacenter Server with 16 GB RAM increase the
achievable document count?

IBM SUCKS AT MARKETING TO SMB | Sound Off Discussion Thread

"Phil Guirl" writes:
I'd like to ask if anyone has ever had any luck getting support from
IBM in marketing Notes/Domino software products to small businesses?
I'd also like to know how many SearchDomino.com users use Notes at
home for your e-mail? Does it make any sense to anyone here that IBM
could have sold a LOT more product to the small and very small
business world if they would have GIVEN AWAY the mail client the way
Microsoft does? I'd especially like to hear from IBMers if any of you
have the [guts] to respond.

THE MISSING LINK: Brits finally give geeks and nerds their due

A new vat of verbiage has now been poured into the mainstream. The
latest edition of the Oxford Dictionary of English now includes the
likes of "cyberslacker" (someone who spends all day on the Web),
"data smog" (the confusion that comes from too much information
online) and "egosurfing" (googling yourself). And believe it or not,
the very cornerstones of geekspeak -- "geek" and "nerd" -- had been
left out of previous Oxford lexicons, but the new version gives them
some definition.
