Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Litan worked as a director of financial systems at the World Bank, where she managed its multicurrency disbursement, financial, accounting, and Web-enabled global information systems for borrowers in more than eighty countries. Concurrently, she worked as a journalist and as a weekly computer columnist for the Washington Times. Ms. Litan earned a master of science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She also graduated from an executive education course at the Harvard Business School while working at the World Bank.
