ADVICE:  Ask Michael Lazar: IBM and Compaq servers vs. Dell PowerEdge servers
Dear Mike: I'm facing some performance problems in my current company. We use Dell PowerEdge servers. In my last company we used IBM (Intel based) and Compaq servers. It seems that the Dells are not as powerful as the others, with comparable CPU, memory and disk. I have no real data, this is just my personal feeling. Do you know where I can find reliable data?
