Hi,
anybody know how to run an install without
rebooting into another linux image?
Back at the old 16Mb limit problem,
I can get tomsrtbt to load all the drivers,
swap etc.
Now how do I actually install RedHat 7.1
onto a partition without actually loading
another linux?
Is it possible? (See now I have swap,
memory is not an issue)
Any ideas?
I can read the CD-ROM, obviously but I
can't seem to work out if it is possible to
run anaconda from the CD - I guess you can't
but someone with a little knowledge on the
distro would be good if they could give an
opinion.
Of course a manual install is fine by me as
long as it doesn't take 10 pages to write
down all the steps involved in getting the
kernel onto the system.
I have a /boot, swap and another unformatted
2G hdd for "/" (all SCSI) which of course I
can format if necessary
Any help greatly appreciated.
-Cheers
