I've read so many iptables howto's that my eyes are getting crossed...and
I still have questions! I'm trying out MonMotha's iptable script which
seems to be working ok but I have the following questions...

1. where should the iptables script be run from? Is it suitable to put it
in rc.local or should I call it from ifup immediately after the eth0, etc
are up?

2. how does it handle dhcp? I'm connected 7x24 using a cable modem and
get my ip via dhcp. While my ip doesn't change very often, it has changed
a few times in the last couple of months. When this happens I
automatically run a script to update an external DNS or my domain goes off
the air. Do I need to leave port 67 open to ensure this works?

3. are there any gotcha's that I should be aware of. So far it seems to
be working as expected.
