hello;
I am new to RH 7.1.
I just installed (again) and this time I chose "high"
security. Now I find that only 'root' can surf the net
with netscape.
A regular user can start KDE and dial to the ISP ok
but when the 'home' button is clicked in netscape the
client area goes gray and hangs.
Netscape will not close when the 'X' is clicked, when
the toolbar is right-clicked and 'close' is clicked
then sometimes the program will end. It seems to time
out.
The user 'root' connects fine.
Of course then I immediately disconnect for safetys
sake.
Aside from re-installing how do I fix this?
I have searched my archives and cannot find any
reference to this problem, although I'm sure its
common.
