That depends on what you want samba to do. File sharing is no problem,
but acting as a domain controller might be. IIRC the actual samba
version can act as primary domain controller for Win2k up to service
pack 1. The next version which is now in beta (or is it already
released? I don't keep track) will be able to act as PDC for Win2k
