inetd.conf how to install this?

Hi!

I installed Redhat 71. and I�m trying of install a pop3 server, I installed 
imap-2000c-10.i386.rpm   and i�m unable of start this
I�m looking and I don�t have the /etc/inetd.conf file , must I install any other util 
before run this?
Maybe is under other name?

I created a /etc/inetd.conf and don�t runs too.
