kudos for the geeks!
fastest, cleanest, most bugfree install that I have done on my systems
to date. for a first beta this is very very good.
test machine is an abit bp6 with 2x550 celerons, 256 MB pc100 ram, 20gb
on the ata33 controller and 45mb on the hpt366 controller using ata66.
smp is ok; network is ok; i'll need to download something worth burning
to cdr to test that part yet, but the scsi worked cleanly during the
install.
ide speed was pretty awesome during the install; development system
custom install in 11 minutes!! hdparm is showing max performance on both
drives with no mods after the install (hda: 139/22 hde: 139/36 MB/s)
kde with all the new features is very spiffy.

had your head stuck in you hiney, it was most kind of you to hide it
there 8-) )
