I poked through the archives and didn't see anything about this, so I
thought I'd give it a whirl. I installed the kernel (RPM) that is listed
on the security errata for my 7.1 system as per the instructions on the
Red Hat site. However, I ran into a problem that I have not hit before
and didn't come up with much of an answer elsewhere doing searches. I am
getting this error when trying to re-run lilo:

Reading boot sector from /dev/hda
Merging with /boot/boot.b
Mapping message file /boot/message
Boot image: /boot/vmlinux-2.4.3-12
Fatal: Kernel /boot/vmlinux-2.4.3-12 is too big

Looking at the size, it actually seems to be smaller than the shipped one.
I tried taking the older one out of the lilo.conf (if this matters or not)
with no difference. I used the RPM and didn't compile anything. Just
installed it. What needs to be done to get that bugger working? Or maybe
point me some direction. Preferrably not with the middle finger. ;)

TIA,
