cannot su -

hi all,

I recently installed and configured Bastille-Linux, now I cant do:

[jimc@groucho jimc]$ su -
Password:
File size limit exceeded
[jimc@groucho jimc]$


this seems to happen only from X;  I can revert to cmdline ( I boot to
runlevel 3)
and su -, but its a hassle.

Ive not yet tried (found) Bastille mailing-list, but I thought Id check
here.
