Hi all,
I have made many bootable CDs for Guinness, Seawolf and the betas.
Today, I tried to get into rescue mode with no success. I had always
pointed mkisofs to the boot.img found in the images directory. Poking
around, I found another image called cdboot.img in dosutils/autoboot. I
mounted it and expanded and mounted its initrd.img. It had all the stuff
that a rescue disk should have. So, I changed the -b option in mkisofs to
point to dosutils/autoboot/cdboot.img. I made a new disk, but it won't
boot. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
TIA.
Bill in Denver
