OK -- sorry if I'm being braindead here, but I still don't understand. :-(
The 'readline' package is installed; /usr/lib/libreadline.so.4 is a
symlink to /usr/lib/libreadline.so.4.1 which does exist as I mentioned
in my original note. 'rpm -V readline' issues no complaints.
Why is it that I find libreadline.so.4 and rpm does not?
