Ive sucessfully manages to get the joystick working on my other system
(sb Live) from reading the joystick docs,
but Iam unable to get it working at using a sb 16 sound card (has a
built in gameport,Ive got the sb live joystick working also works on all
my systems o.k)
whenever i try to run: jstest /dev/js0,i get the error:
'jstest: no such device'
yet the device is listed if i do a 'ls -al /dev/js0':
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 Sep 12 15:44 /dev/js0 ->
input/js
Iam loading the following modules ofr an analogue joystick:
/sbin/modprobe joydev
/sbin/modprobe gameport
/sbin/modprobe analog
/sbin/modprobe input (just for good measure)
My sound is working perferctly, so the modules for the sound card are
being loaded o.k.

Has anyone else came across this problem on this soundcard (it happens
on Roswell and Seawolf)
Any help would be appressiated
