SCO/Xenix has used a number of different file systems over the years. AFS Acer Fast Filesystem DTFS Desktop Filesystem EAFS Extended Acer Fast Filesystem HTFS High Throughput Filesystem S51KB AT&T UNIX(R) System V 1KB Filesystem XENIX XENIX(R) filesystem To gain access without using/knowing the root passwd you need to boot the system with a set of "root and boot" diskettes. If you can get to the prompt it can be done with "mkdev fd". There isn't really a generic flavor of these disks as it depends on the hd/controller combination. Hope this helps stan _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
