I doubt the package is hosed. I use pl03 here.

Did you restart postfix? Please post the output of postconf -n.
It is the only way we can begin to troubleshoot.

Also did you "rpm -e sendmail" and then "killall sendmail" before
you installed and started postfix. Did you force or nodeps anything during the
installation of the postfix rpms? The only thing you MIGHT have to do a
--nodeps is possibly "rpm -e sendmail" as things like pine etc. depend on it.
Installing postfix will satisfy the dependancies but if you need to
use force or nodeps during the installation something is wrong.
