Yes, I did check. Finally, discovered a workaround and installed RH 7.1

However, of the two links there, one link is dead and the other has a
different model (mine is 11714MU).

I had to remove the service kudzu by logging in single. Now I am trying to
set up the X display. Its a 13.3" TFT active matrix. I am looking for
monitor specs for this. Do you know of some place where I can find specs
for TFT monitors ? (I am searching the IBM website.).
