Be sure to update your "iptables" package with a newer one to fix
some bugs related to ipchains-save, then save your rules to
/etc/sysconfig/iptables and run "chkconfig iptables on" to enable it
(for next reboot) and "service iptables start" to start it manually.
If you're familiar with shell scripts, have a look at
/etc/init.d/iptables to see what is done there.
