Alternative 1: cd /misc/cd
(and wait for one minute of inactivity before you can take the disc
out again)
Alternative 2: mount /dev/cdrom /mountpoint -o ro
umount /mountpoint
(or if you like verbosity)
Alternative 3: mount /dev/cdrom /mountpoint -t iso9660 -o ro
umount /mountpoint
